The Second-Generation Chevrolet Colorado Enters its Seventh Model Year
The 2021 update on the Chevy Colorado ushers in the second-generation model’s seventh year. It boasts of upgradations to its exteriors, interiors, and powertrain. While not a Mid-Cycle Refresh officially, this light update strikes quite close to it. How is the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado different from the models we’ve seen in the past?
• In 2021, Chevrolet deletes the 2SA base model.
• The Z71 trim of the 2021 Chevrolet comes with a black bowtie on its grille
• The ZR2 off-road package offers a “Chevrolet” letter grille with a flow-tie
• The Work Truck Appearance package is no longer being provided
• Three different exterior colors are being offered
• Five exterior color options have been discarded
• Five wheel and three tire options have been deleted
• Three wheels and one tire option is now made available
• Rear-view auto-dimming mirror is now standard on all LT trims of the vehicle
• Chrome Appearance Package has been added
• The Colorado RST Special Edition and Colorado Trail Runner Special Edition Packages have been deleted
• Various additions and deletions have been made to the LPO-level items
